The Snow Team supports operations in snow-covered and cold-weather environments. Members train to travel, search, communicate, and work safely when winter conditions make access and survival more demanding.
Team readiness includes appropriate clothing and equipment, navigation, cold-weather risk management, patient considerations, and coordination with vehicle, ground, and other specialty resources.
