The Mountain Bike Team provides mobile search capability on trails, paths, parks, and terrain where bicycles can cover ground more efficiently than personnel on foot. The team may assist with route searches, clue detection, communications, and rapid movement between assignments.
Members train in safe bike handling, field navigation, communications, equipment readiness, and coordinated search operations.
